Your customers are getting more and more selective about who they do business with. Showing off your great service with reviews is a great way to stand out from your competition and boost your search engine ranking!
If you already have reviews click here to see how to add them to your site. If you want to find out how to get more reviews read our tips:
1 Make a platform for your customers to easily submit reviews
You can choose one or multiple platforms for your customers to leave a review. Popular choices are:
Google My Business - it's free and having a GMB listing gives your SEO a massive boost, especially if it's linked to your Mettrr website. See our guide here on how to set up a Google My Business listing.
Facebook Business - not to be confused with your personal facebook page. It's free and easy to set up. See our guide here on how to set up a Facebook Business page.
Trustpilot - many companies use Trustpilot, including Mettrr! There is a free version of Trustpilot along with a variety of paid plans so it doesn't have to cost you extra.
Other associations or governing bodies for your industry - if you are already a member of a guild or governing body let us know and we can add the company logo to your website and hyperlink it to your page. If you're not a member of any associations you should definitely look into it.
2 Ask your customers to submit a review
Don't be afraid to ask your customers to leave you a review, especially if they've already been complimentary about your service. Having Facebook or Google My Business makes this really easy for your customers, it's as simple as sending them a link!
You could even ask friends or family members who you have worked for to submit you some reviews to get you started.
3 Send us your reviews to add to your website
Now you've got reviews make sure you send them to us to display on your website by submitting them through you Mettrr Dashboard here. The great thing is that you can be selective and pick your very best reviews to show on your Mettrr website.
If you've set up a new GMB, Facebook or other account send that to us as well so we can link that to your website. The more links to external websites you have the better it is for your SEO.
4 Managing reviews
Check your profiles for customer reviews. Linking the accounts to an email you check regularly is a great way to keep on top of this.
Publicly reply to all your reviews whether they are good, bad or in between. This builds trust with potential customers by showing you care and you're in complete control of your business.
Most platforms don't allow you to remove bad reviews so if it does happen reply publicly, keeping your response factual and free from emotion. Your potential customers are realistic and don't expect every review to be 5 stars. A well-managed response to a bad review can actually set you apart from the competition.
