The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) is the regulator with regard to .com domains. Mettrr, like all other service providers adheres to ICANN's rules and regulations.
ICANN states that .com domains are locked for 60 days after:
- a domain is first registered
- a domain has been transferred
- a domain's settings or contact information has been updated
This means that if you are either looking to transfer your .com domain in to, or away from Mettrr, whilst during this 60 day period, this will not be possible.
Confirmation of this can be found on ICANN's website here (section 3.7.6).
